Aah,
the one that started it all! Prog rock appeared to be dead in the 80's,
even though both Yes and Genesis were enjoying their most successful runs. Marillion decided to pick up the Prog torch and run with it. And with tunes like 'Garden Party' and 'He Knows You Know,' they were off to a great start. |

Picks
up where Script . . . left off. Contains the excellent 'Chelsea Monday'
and the dark humour of 'Punch and Judy.' Unfortunately, the 80s 'No Low End' recording policy is highly evident here. Where's the bass? |

Many
feel that this record is overrated. Ridiculous!! This is Marillion
at their best (so far) with a concept album about the loss of innocence and childhood. A Peter Pan opera, if you will. Yes, it has 'Kayleigh,' which in some circles was played to death on the radio. But what else are you going to do with a great tune? |

Irony
of ironies, the best Marillion album of them all and it's Fish's
last one with the group. The towering lead singer decided to part company with his bandmates and pursue the inevitable solo career. Probably not of his better ideas. This album, though, is possibly the most autobiographical of Marillion's, tackling the subject of too much drink and its consequences. A thoroughly depressing album, which instantly makes it an all-time great. |

The
obligatory (official) live album, from the last tour with Fish.
Kinda cool in the sense that you get all of Misplaced Childhood performed live. So that's nice. |

than the last outing - more commercial. And the band is more comfortable

The
magnum opus of the Hogarth era, apparently based on a true news report
of a runaway attempting suicide by jumping off a bridge. Rumour has it that some of the band caught this live on TV and got to wondering what could lead a young person to do such a thing. brave is their answer. |

The
first of many fan-funded albums in Marillion's colorful history.
Dropped by IRS when they folded in 1995, Marillion had this album in the can with no way to release it. After donations from fans, funds from a Marillion convention, and band members' contributions, this CD was released. They finally toured the states again to support this record and that tour was also funded almost entirely by the fans. You may not like their music (which is great, by the way), but you gotta love their fans. |
