The
debut album forma truly original band. Hey, any band that has Bev Bevan
sing the lead vocal on a cover of a standard ('Zing Went the Strings of My Heart') has got to be great! Yes, Bevan could not carry a tune in a bucket. But for having the brass ones to do it is worthy of praise alone. But the great songs! Very much in the vein of The Kinks, poppy and psychedelic. |

Just
for 'Brontosaurus alone, this is an album to have. Cheap
Trick would finally release their version of this as a promotional CD single for their 1997 self-titled album. |

This
was a last ditch effort by the record company to cash in on The Move
as quickly as they could before ELO was launched. A must have for 'Do Ya' and 'California Man' alone. |
