The proverbial release, for serious fans only. Interestingly, though, except for one or two songs, all of the
tunes here are acoustic. Nice, mellow music for a warm summer's night.

OCS almost fumbled on this one. Some great individual songs here, but overall it's an album that borders on
pretentiousness. Luckily they caught themselves in time for their next release.

many other releases lack. Glad to see OCS back to form.

This one started off strong, but then kind of petered out. Die hard OCS fans will probably disagree, but oh
well . . . it's my site, I'll say what I want! Nothing against this record, it's just that nothing about it stands out for
me. With that, I still like it - I just don't love it.

Again, nothing new for me here. I like the songs, and I'll always get OCS discs. Nothing will ever be able to
recapture the magic that Moseley Shoals is, though. And I'm not comparing their subsequent recording to
that stellar album either, it's just that while I rather enjoy their music, I can't really discern one album form the
next.

To go against the grain of some die hard OCS fans again, I really like this record! I've read that some feel
like they just phoned it in, but I disagree. The cover of George Harrison's 'Wah Wah' sheds no new light on
the song, but it is a good, faithful cover. And I think I finally realise why I like OCS so much. In the 60s, The
Who
and the Small Faces were THE mod groups; in the 70s, it was The Jam; the 80s it was The Truth and
The Style Council. In the 90s, OCS took the mantle and ran with it. Thanks to them, the spirit lives on. We are
the Mods, we are the Mods, we are, we are, we are the Mods . . .

Usually when a band goes through a lineup change and replaces one member with two new ones, it doesn't
bode well for the group. The creativity is gone, the spark is dead. Not this time! OCS have come up with
their best album in years! Great to have them back, even if only three of the original members are still
around.
