The
brainchild of Monty
Python's Eric Idle, The Rutles took on a life of their
own. A wonderful, lovingly sarcastic look at the world's greatest band (The Beatles). Even George Harrison endorsed it by appearing in the film! |

Cashing
in on The Beatles' Anthology
series, The Rutles released their own version. Ironically enough,
the mastermind behind the Rutles, Eric Idle, refused to participate in this project. Fittingly, then, since The Beatles were now a trio, so were The Rutles. And it's always fun trying to see what Beatles tune the Rutles were taking on. |
