A bootleg I made from an old videotape of The Stones performing on a special edition of England's
landmark music series, Ready, Steady, Go! Sound quality is what you'd expect, but it's still cool to hear
the Stones live, with Brian Jones, and before they became a parody of themselves in the 90s.

The Stones take a stab at psychedelia and of course it comes out dark and twisted. At the time, this was
critically and commercially panned, but over time it has proven to be a collection of some very good songs.

an incredible album!

The Stones released another great album, with its title parodying The Beatles last album. Ironically enough,
this was released BEFORE 'Let it Be' came out.

You can just feel the birth of the decadent 70's rock star lifestyle with this record. A classic in every sense of

The quintessential Stones collection. If you don't want to invest in all of their early albums (and some of them
are clunkers), then add this to your collection. All the (early) Stones you'll ever need.

The very first heroin album ever. You can feel the buzz these guys had just by listening to this record.
Disjointed, paranoid, claustrophobic. How this came to be considered a classic, I'll never know. Maybe
because it is a good record despite all that.

The 70s were good and bad for The Stones. This is one of the bad. Well, mediocre at best. Outside of

album, and if you don't have it, shame on you.

The leadoff track says it all. 'Sad Sad Sad,' indeed. What was once a pillar of rock history began their decay

became a joke.

Well, never say never, I guess. The Stones FINALLY came out with a great album! Only took 'em 17 years
to do it . . . Great songs, great playing - Mick and the boys are still vital. At least until the next album, then
we'll see. But til then, I'll just enjoy this wonderful record over and over again.
