Well,
John was brutally taken from us, but we have his
son! Or so the record company wanted us to believe. So much so, that they forced poor Julian to sing like his father. It wouldn't be until 1989's Mr. Jordan CD that we would be treated to Julian's own singing style. Nevertheless, this is a very good, mature record from a man who's legacy became an unfortunate burden. The title of the last song on the album says it all. |

Reeking of commercialism, I still like this album. Julian was proving to be a very talented songwriter. | |||||||

Trying
to find his own voice, Julian released this album against the record company's
wishes. Finally breaking out on his own, singing in his own voice. I love this record! |
